How to Start a Club
Sport

|
Those interested in starting a club sport should do the following:
- Get the names, addresses, school addresses, E-mail,
cell phone numbers and
home numbers of all interested members,
- Compile a roster with at least 10 potential members
on it, listing the above information, and have each member fill out and
sign a Club Sport Waiver.
- Select a President, Vice-president, Treasurer and
Secretary,
- Download and review the Sport Club Manual,
- Develop a club constitution,
- Outline your ideas for the club; including number of
practices or meetings per week, location of practices or meetings,
types of equipment needed, possible league affiliation, a proposed
budget, etc.,
- make an appointment to meet with the Assistant
Director of Recreation by calling 856-225-6197.
